Westercommon Resource Centre

We offer a variety of adult literacy courses in a small group basis. These groups involve flexible learning, with the learners themselves deciding how best to progress. We also offer a discovery programme, which is a literacy course that gives students the opportunity to use multi-media learning techniques. A learning new skills programme, which has been designed particularly for women, is also on offer. Crèche cover is available.

The Disability Community

As an organisation which focuses on developing the independence and capacity of individuals with a disability we offer a number of development programmes focusing on literacy, numeracy and comprehension issues. Programmes are offered at elementary level for individuals with little or no comprehension of literacy and numeracy and intermediate level for those with basic/limited levels of literacy and numeracy.
